General Rule & Race Procedures
- No intentional deep staging permitted in all classes
- All vehicles must have at least 1 working tail light 2" mi. visible from 180 degrees
- All vehicles running 9.99 and quicker must have valid IHRA license all vehicles 9.00 & quicker must have chassis certification
- All IHRA safety rules are in effect for all classes. Rule books available in the timing tower.
- CHILDREN NOT ALLOWED IN THE STAGING LANES / NO CHILDREN RIDING BIKES IN THE PIT AREA
- No one allowed past the red line in the staging area
- No tow vehicles allowed except for non radiated vehicles
- No push starts, all vehicles must be self starting
- All drivers over 16 must have a valid drivers license
- All drivers under 18 years of age must have a minor release form signed and on file in the ti
- 2 year belt rule will be enforced on all aftermarket seat belts
- Valid drivers license required to operate atv's or pit bikes. Your race vehicle number must be on pit bikes or golf carts. No joy riding . no riding of pit bikes or atv's after completion of the event.
- Burnouts in the staging lanes, excessive speed on the return road or pits will be grounds for disqualification
- You may only enter 1 vehicle per division
- Dial in's are your responsibility and must be legible from at least 75 feet. Once you stage you have excepted the dial displayed on the score board
- Broken entry. If you win your round and break your vehicle you will get next round looser money and points
- No alcohol in the pit area, any driver found drinking will be disqualified from the event,
- Team drivers must be declared on opening day, limit 2 drivers per team, WIR reserves the right to alter this rule. one award per team.
- No computers or data recorders allowed. Play back tach ok.
Street Eliminator
- Open to all street legal vehicles running 12.00 or slower
- Must have a complete exhaust system exiting behind the drivers door or out the tail of the car. Muffler required. Catalytic converter not required.
- Street legal tires only. Dot approved drag tires ok.
- Stock seat belts in good working condition ok . After market belts must be no older than 2 years after the date stamped on the sfi label.
- All IHRA Sportsman general rules for the ET that you are running in effect
- Radiator overflow catch can, 2 throttle return springs and a securely mounted battery ( no bungee cords ) required.
- Convertibles must have roll bar extending at least 3 inches above the drivers head and be equipped w/ arm restraints
- SNELL 95 or newer helmet required
Hot Rod Eliminator
- Open to all vehicles running 14.50 and quicker
- All IHRA Sportsman general rules for the ET that you are running in effect.
- After market axles and axles retention device mandatory on entries running quicker than 10.99
- SFI 18.1 Harmonic balancer required on entries running quicker than 10.99
- SFI 3.2A/1 minimum required for all full bodied entries running 11.49 or quicker. Minimum SFI 3.2A/5 jacket, SFI3.3/1 gloves and arm restraints required for open bodied entries
- SNELL approved SN2000 or newer helmet required
- Drive shaft loop required on all entries with slicks
- Roll cage is mandatory if the entry has an altered floor firewall, or if the vehicle exceeds 135 mph.
- SFI 4.1 Transmission shield on all automatic transmission entries running 10.99 or quicker
- A minimum of 1 working tail light, visible from 180 degrees is mandatory
Top Eliminator
- IHRA Sportsman general rules in effect for the et you are running
- 9.99 and quicker must have a valid IHRA license
- 9.00 and quicker must have chassis certification
- SNELL approved SN2000 or newer helmet mandatory
- SFI 3.2A5 approved jacket for all full bodied entries 9.99 and quicker, SFI 3.3 neck collar for entries 8.49 and quicker.
- Open bodied cars must have SFI 3.2A/5 jacket & pants SFI 3.3/5 gloves SFI 3.3 neck collar and 3.3 arm restraints
- Roll cage mandatory on all entries quicker than 9.99 or faster than 135 mph
- SFI 16.1 Seat belts within two years from date stamped on the SFI tag
- SFI 4.1 Transmission shield mandatory on all automatic transmission running 11.50 or quicker
- After market axles and axle retaining device mandatory on entries running 10.99 or quicker
- Harmonic balancer with an SFI 18.1 mandatory on entries running 10.99 or quicker
- SFI 29.1 flexplate and SFI 30.1 shield mandatory on all entries 10.99 and quicker
- A minimum of 1 working taillight visible from 180 degrees mandatory
PRO Bike/Snowmobile
- "Snap back" throttle mandatory
- Front and rear brakes in good working condition mandatory on all bikes
- Leather or kevlar jacket, leather gloves and leather shoes or boot covering the ankle required. Full leathers required on entries quicker than 9.99
- Nitrous oxide permitted on entries running 9.99 or quicker only
- A minimum of 1 working taillight visible from 180 degrees mandatory
- IHRA Sportsman rules for snowmobiles and motorcycles in effect
Junior Dragster
- No one other than the starter is allowed past the orange cone
- A minimum of 1 working taillight visible from 180 degrees mandatory
- An orange flag with a minimum height of 5 feet must be attached to the car while moving in the pit area and staging lanes.
Real Street Drags and Test & Tune
Events geared towards the average street racer or car enthusiast that wants to come out to the track and see what their car or motorcycle can do on the 1/4 mile. These event are open to all vehicles that can pass a general tech inspection.
General Rules
- All vehicles must be in sound mechanical condition and have the following
- Seat Belt - stock type ok. for vehicles w/o a roll bar
- Dual Carburetor return springs - most stock systems ok.
- Radiator overflow catch can - Stock type ok.
- Battery must be securely mounted
- Drive Shaft loop Required on any vehicle running drag slicks.
- Helmet - a SNELL approved helmet with a M-90,M-95,M-2000.M-2005 or SA-90, SA-95, SA-2000, SA-2005 rating is required. (A limited # of helmets are available at the track for rent. $10 each )
- Nitrous Oxide ok. on all entries.- Bottle must have Blow off valve vented out of drivers compartment
- Convertibles - A Roll Bar extending above the drivers head is required.
- IHRA rules are in effect for the E.T you are running
Motorcycles / Snowmobiles
- Leather Jacket, Gloves, and Boots covering the ankles required on all riders
- Helmet - a SNELL approved helmet with a M-90,M-95,M-2000.M-2005 or SA-90, SA-95, SA-2000, SA-2005 rating is required.
- Throttle - Must snap back to closed position when released
- Tether Cord - Required on all entries
- Chain Guard - All entries must have a chain guard extending to the rear axle / stock type ok
- 9.99 or Quicker - Full Leathers required
